Avoiding Diploma Mills in Distance Learning

Have you ever seen the news articles describing people who pay for degrees from online colleges only to find out that they’re dealing with nothing but a diploma mill? These so-called colleges exist only to take your money. The courses they offer are very marginal, and they are not recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as offering a viable education to their students.
