Ok. Go out an buy a new battery for it. Make sure it’s the same type. Or you can take the old battery out and run your laptop from the regular charger. It works if you can’t get a battery for it! I hope I helped! Check out my channel!

I get that to! I believe it’s from something Interfering with it. Turn off devices such as microwave, stereo, cell phone, ect. I did this and you have to wait awhile and it then shows back up! I hope this helps. Oh and check out my channel!

Help! Is there any way to restore a corrupted driver on my Toshiba laptop? My laptop starts up, but the manufacturing logo doesn’t appear. All that appears is a completely black screen; in other words, nothing. Please help.

I just purchased a Sony Vaio over the holiday. I spend a lot of time making documents, ripping movies and then watching them. I tend to use the laptop for extended periods daily.

On two different occasions, my screen would turn black (or at least very dark). The only method that I have used to revive my screen is to randomly press a key. Is it possible that it is overheating or excessively long use periods?

Also, at times, when booting up, the screen would show jagged horizontal lines. Why?
